1. VALEDOORN FARMS INC.

Come for a pre-arranged guided tour on one of Agassiz's largest and finest dairy farms! This Holstein farm also boasts a state-of-the-art double twelve milking parlour. See cows, heifers and calves! And, if you're lucky maybe you'll even see a cow give birth! Got Milk? Drink Milk! Call John for an appointment.

2. AGASSIZ-HARRISON MUSEUM & VISITOR INFORMATION CENTRE

Agassiz MuseumLocated in the Pioneer Park the Agassiz Harrison Museum & Visitor Information Centre is housed in a Canadian Pacific Railway Station built in 1893. The museum records, both local CPR history & includes extensive archives relating to the Agassiz Harrison area. The gift shop offers crafts; collectibles & books featuring local artists & authors. The Agassiz Visitor Information Centre provides a wealth of information on the local & surrounding area. For a taste of Canadian history with a small-town flavor, visit the Agassiz Harrison Museum & Visitor Information Centre.

3. CANADIAN HAZELNUT

ChocolateHazelnuts – that’s us! We grow, process & sell a variety of certified organic products including fresh, roasted, candied, chocolate dipped & bark, flour, protein powders, cold pressed oils, butter & chocolate spread. Come & enjoy a walk in our orchard & enjoy a self-guided tour. U-pick during September & October.

4. THE BACK PORCH

Back PorchDan & Lynda invite you to visit our pottery studio, or watch coffee being roasted in a circa 1919 Flame Roaster. Head out to the barn for antiques, collectibles, & other home or garden décor items. Fresh Russian Red Garlic is available in-season. Character buildings, chickens & ongoing garden projects make this a fun & relaxing experience.

5. THE FARM HOUSE NATURAL CHEESES

CheeseWe make a large range of artisan cheeses & dairy products right on our family farm using the rich pure milk from our own cows & goats. The farm shop also offers local & regional food, gelati ice cream, & quality gifts. Watch the cheesemaking process through the viewing windows, & enjoy the taste of pure country!

6. LIMBERT MOUNTAIN FARM - SIMPLY FINE FOODS

Limbert Mountain FarmOur 1902 heritage farm provides food for your senses with tranquil hillside gardens, sensual herbs & local cuisine! See our website for in-season produce & herbs, our complete line of Simply Fine Foods products, or to book your guided herb walk or lunch for your group. Visit the store for home & garden décor and locally sourced foods. We provide classes on growing and using herbs & vegetables, as well as cooking & dining experiences. We also host several events in celebration of the changing seasons.

7. KILBY HISTORIC SITE

KilbyA 1920s living history site features our 1906 general store museum, post office and Manchester House Hotel. Enjoy costumed interpreters, children’s activities & working heritage farm with friendly farm animals. Also on site is the Harrison River Restaurant featuring a traditional home-style lunch menu, where everything is made from scratch! The unique Waterloo Farm Gift Shop extends your museum experience with nostalgia merchandise & hand-crafted gifts created by local artisans. Our book selection by local authors features history, culture and the elusive Sasquatch. We are especially proud of our new line of blackberry jams, jellies, & syrups made onsite from local berries!
